The Super Eagles of Nigeria have started assembling in Rabat, Morocco, ahead of their crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup playoff against Gabon on November 13.
As of Sunday evening, seven players are already in camp — Calvin Bassey, Alex Iwobi, Samuel Chukwueze, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, Wilfred Ndidi, and Moses Simon.
Team officials said three more players — William Troost-Ekong, Benjamin Fredericks, and Chidozie Awaziem — are expected to join the team later tonight.
The atmosphere in camp is said to be lively, with the early arrivals taking part in light training and recovery sessions under the watch of the coaches.
The Super Eagles are aiming for victory in the must-win match against Gabon, which could decide their qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The team will continue training in Rabat before their final tactical sessions later in the week.
