Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr has entered talks with Bayer Leverkusen to sign Nigerian striker Victor Boniface.

The club is considering Boniface as a replacement for Brazilian forward Anderson Talisca, who is set to join Turkish side Fenerbahçe.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the development on Monday, stating that Boniface is one of Al Nassr’s key transfer targets, alongside Aston Villa striker Jhon Durán. However, Villa has reportedly refused to let Durán leave.

Romano disclosed that an Al Nassr delegation is currently in Germany to negotiate with Bayer Leverkusen and Boniface’s representatives. “Talks are underway with both Bayer Leverkusen and the player’s side. Boniface and Jhon Durán are Al Nassr’s main targets,” Romano posted on X.

With Talisca heading to Istanbul to finalize his move, Al Nassr is keen on securing Boniface to strengthen their squad for upcoming competitions.
