Afrobeats’ poster boy, Asake, might just be stepping into his biggest bag yet and it’s got three stripes on it.

Reports making the rounds suggest the “Lonely At The Top” hitmaker has landed a jaw-dropping $35 million (over ₦45 billion) endorsement deal with global sportswear giant Adidas.

According to Music Base, the deal is designed to position Asake as one of the leading faces of the brand, riding on his explosive rise and cultural dominance in recent years. While the ink isn’t dry just yet, insiders say both parties are in the final stages of sealing the agreement.

If it goes through, this won’t just be another celeb partnership it’ll be a full-circle moment.

Before the fame, before the sold-out arenas, Asake was a dancer grinding through the Lagos scene — often spotted rocking Adidas. Now, the same brand could be betting big on him as a global ambassador. That’s not just alignment; that’s storytelling.

Since breaking out, Asake (real name Ahmed Ololade) has moved like a man on a mission. His debut album Mr. Money With The Vibe didn’t just make noise — it shook tables, setting a then-record for the biggest opening day for an African album on Apple Music and even landing a spot on the Billboard 200.

But that’s not all happening behind the scenes.

There are also talks of Sony Music Entertainment looking to collaborate with his label, Giran Republic, in a move that could push its artists further into global markets.

If both deals click into place, Asake won’t just be having a good year — he’ll be building an empire.
