Ayra Starr Crowned Spotify’s Queen of Afrobeats

Spotify has officially declared Ayra Starr the biggest female Afrobeats artist of the past year, placing her at No. 1 on its newly released Top 5 Female Afrobeats Artists list.  

Following closely are Tems in second, Libianca in third, Aya Nakamura at fourth, and Darkoorounding out the top five.  

Interestingly, Tyla despite her international acclaim this year did not make the ranking.  

Spotify also unveiled its Top 5 Afrobeats Artists in Latin America: Rema leads, followed by Ayra Starr, CKay, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.
