Flora and Aikou have been selected as the male and female Gambits of the ongoing Big Brother Naija Season 11 reality show.
The pair secured the special positions following votes cast by viewers after Big Brother introduced the Gambit twist during the first week of the “Show Ya Sef” edition.
Under the arrangement, one male and one female housemate will remain in the BBNaija house until the end of the season.
However, Flora and Aikou will not be eligible to compete for the show’s N160 million grand prize.
They will continue participating in house activities, games and sponsored tasks and will remain eligible to win individual rewards.
Flora, Aikou secure special BBNaija roles
Flora received more than 29 per cent of the votes in the female category, while Aikou polled over nine per cent to emerge as the male Gambit.
Ricky and Abi were also among the four housemates who received the highest number of votes.
Despite securing places in the house until the finale, Flora and Aikou must continue to obey all Big Brother rules throughout the season.
The Gambit twist was introduced after the first Head of House challenge of the season.
Chimsom Chuka emerged as the first Head of House after defeating the other 23 contestants, with Abi chosen as his deputy.
Unlike previous seasons, Chimsom was not automatically granted access to the Head of House lounge.
Big Brother instead introduced a lucky-dip process, which saw Tram win access to the luxury suite and select Sheba as his guest.
BBNaija Season 11 premiered on July 26 with 24 housemates competing on the reality show.
The eventual winner will receive a record N160 million grand prize.
