MultiChoice Nigeria has officially announced the return of the Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) reality TV show for its highly anticipated 11th season.
In a post shared on their official Instagram page, the organisers revealed that the audition process for the new season will be starting soon, though they have yet to disclose key details about the show’s preparation or timeline.
Auditions for BBNaija Season 11 to Begin Soon
The Instagram post read, “Biggie is calling. Are you ready to answer? Auditions soon,” signaling the start of preparations for the upcoming season.
Despite the excitement surrounding the announcement, MultiChoice has not revealed the specific audition dates, venues, or when the show will officially premiere. It remains unclear whether the audition process will return to a fully physical format, remain virtual, or adopt a hybrid model like the previous season.
A Blended Audition Format in Season 10
For the tenth season, BBNaija combined both online submissions and in-person screenings, which were held in Lagos, Abuja, and Enugu states. This blended approach was introduced to provide more opportunities for contestants across the country to participate. The fourth season, which aired in 2019, was the first time BBNaija adopted online auditions, making the process more accessible to those who couldn’t attend physical auditions.
Opeyemi ‘Imisi’ Ayanwale Emerged as Season 10 Winner
In the previous season, Opeyemi ‘Imisi’ Ayanwale emerged as the winner of BBNaija Season 10, which concluded on October 5, 2025. Ayanwale took home the grand prize of N150 million, which included N80 million in cash and a brand new SUV. The reality star triumphed over 28 other housemates to secure the coveted prize.
In Season 9, which aired in 2024, contestants were required to audition in pairs, with Kellyrae emerging as the winner, taking home the grand prize in a competitive field.
