Former Big Brother Naija star Lucy Edet has welcomed her first child, a baby boy.
Lucy shared the good news on Instagram, announcing that her son was born on September 17.
In her post, she said the experience surprised her because she did not go through the painful labour she had expected.
“It really did blow my mind, cuz you never know what to expect. I watched way too many videos. The whole pregnancy I was waiting for the hard painful part to start, it never came, and I’m grateful for it,” she wrote.
She added that apart from the emotional and mental stress, the pregnancy was a smooth journey.
Lucy Edet also revealed that the happiest part of the experience was having her mother and close friends by her side, supporting her throughout and keeping her secret until the baby arrived.
Her baby boy, she said, was born healthy and strong.
