Harry Kane scored a hat-trick on Saturday to help Bayern Munich beat Hoffenheim 4-1 in the Bundesliga.
The England striker opened the scoring before half-time, then added two more goals from the penalty spot in the second half. Serge Gnabry scored Bayern’s fourth in stoppage time against his former club.
Hoffenheim got a late goal when Vladimir Coufal’s free-kick was deflected in, but it was only a consolation.
Kane now has 13 goals in seven games this season, and 98 goals in 103 matches since joining Bayern in 2023.
In other matches, Hamburg won their first Bundesliga game in seven years, defeating Heidenheim 2-1. Freiburg beat Werder Bremen 3-0, while Mainz shocked Augsburg 4-1 despite going down to 10 men. RB Leipzig were due to face Cologne later on Saturday.
