Cardi B has dropped serious claims about the conditions Offset is putting on their split. In a recent livestream on X Spaces, she revealed that one of the reasons her divorce hasn’t been finalized yet is because Offset is demanding she pay his taxes and also give him one of her properties.
She didn’t directly call him by name in that moment, but the implication was clear. “You wanna know the tea?” she said. According to Cardi, she should have to hand over real estate and money before she can be legally free. Even though she’s been handling her own taxes, that still wouldn’t be enough.
Cardi was firm: she’s not willing to comply just to be “released” from the marriage formally. This is more than just a messy breakup she sees it as unfair leverage.
