Singer Cassie Ventura has provided harrowing testimony in the ongoing federal trial of music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, who faces charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and coercion.
Ventura, who was in a relationship with Combs from 2007 to 2018, alleges that she endured years of physical and sexual abuse, including being forced into drug-fueled sex parties, referred to as “freak-offs,” under threats of violence and blackmail. She recounted incidents of severe physical assaults, including a 2016 hotel attack captured on surveillance video, and detailed how Combs allegedly used explicit recordings to control and intimidate her. Combs has pleaded not guilty to all charges. The trial, which began on May 12, 2025, is expected to last several weeks.
