Nigerian content creator Abdulgafar Ahmad, popularly known as Cute Abiola, has addressed the criticisms he received after publicizing his wife’s childbirth experience.
In a statement on his X handle, the actor said he was overwhelmed by the emotional comments and prayers on his YouTube channel following the release of the video.
Cute Abiola insisted that he is happy with his decision to share the journey online and expressed gratitude for the support from fans and colleagues.
“Since yesterday, when I shared our documentary, I have been reading through the comments on YouTube…and honestly, I am overwhelmed. So many emotional messages… so many prayers…so many people sharing their own stories. I saw strength, love, and humanity in the comment section, and I felt the need to share some of them here,” he wrote.
“I am glad I shared this journey. I am glad I was vulnerable. And most importantly, I am glad this story has motivated someone out there who might be going through a difficult time. Life is not always perfect, but sometimes sharing our struggles gives hope to others. To everyone who watched, prayed, supported, and sent kind words, thank you. My family and I truly appreciate you.”
The actor and his wife recently welcomed their second child, and the documentary has sparked widespread reactions online, with fans praising Cute Abiola for openly sharing his family’s experience.
