Nigerian artiste manager, Ubi Franklin, has announced that legal action will be pursued against those allegedly bullying singer Davido and his wife, Chioma, on social media.

In a recent post on X, Franklin, who works closely with Davido, shared screenshots from a WhatsApp group allegedly named “TSM lovers,” which appears to be associated with fans of Davido’s ex, Sophia Momodu.

The purported messages in the screenshots contain offensive claims about Chioma, including allegations that she used “love charm” to marry Davido and malicious comments about the death of their son.

One message in the group reads: “Yes, David was under love charm from Chioma, and one thing people don’t know is whatever wrong you do, it backfires. That innocent boy’s death was too suspicious of many wrongdoings but many people don’t know what the mother must have put her eyes into.”

Other remarks in the messages targeted Folasade Adeleke, Davido’s cousin, with derogatory language.

Franklin condemned those behind the messages, calling them “evil, wicked, and bitter,” and accusing them of using social media platforms to bully Chioma.

“You know people are evil, right? The message I see on this group chat is just… And then people say humans aren’t wicked or bitter,” he said in his post.

Franklin further criticized the bullies for having “enough time and energy to create groups just to bully a woman who has done absolutely nothing to you,” stressing that Chioma was not involved in anyone’s personal issues.

He warned that legal action is imminent, stating that those behind the bullying would be held accountable by law enforcement. “One after the other, you will explain to the law enforcement what Chef Chi has done to all of you. Just keep opening groups to bully her. Her husband, me as her manager, and the entire family have your time now and we will follow the rules, and you will be served,” he wrote.

The latest developments come amidst ongoing legal disputes between Davido and Sophia Momodu over the custody of their daughter, Imade. Recently, Sophia’s lawyer filed a lawsuit against the singer, alleging harassment, cyberbullying, and threats to her life.
