Veteran singer Peter Okoye famously known as Mr P has dropped some deep truths about life’s real threats. In a recent appearance on The Nancy Isime Show, he confessed that he isn’t afraid of death what scares him most is poverty.
He revealed that his fear stems from a harrowing childhood memory: he and his siblings once lived with their parents in a cramped one-room apartment, only for their home to be demolished while they were still inside.
According to him:
“I am not afraid of death. The only thing I am afraid of in this life is poverty, of being broke.”
For Peter, surviving and thriving matters more than the unknown after life because he’s already seen how painful life without stability can be.
