Nigerian superstar Kizz Daniel has categorically denied recent viral claims that a court ordered the freezing of his personal and business accounts over a contractual dispute.
According to media reports, it was alleged that the “Buga” singer had been ordered to pay €200,000 in damages for allegedly failing to honor a show, even after receiving a $50,000 advance, and that his Access Bank accounts had been frozen.
In a statement released on 25 September 2025, Kizz Daniel’s management described the rumors as “false, misleading, and a deliberate attempt to tarnish the artist’s reputation.” They stressed that he “has no such case in court, and no accounts have been frozen,” and called on the public to ignore the fabricated report.
The team also vowed to pursue legal action against those spreading the misinformation.
They further clarified that past controversies, including issues tied to the cancelled “Afrobeats Meets Berlin 2022” event, have been misrepresented over time to paint a false narrative against the singer.
