Nigeria’s Super Falcons have fallen one place in the latest FIFA Women’s World Rankings, released on Thursday.
The team, previously ranked 36th, is now 37th in the world but still holds the number one spot in Africa.
The drop comes after the Falcons were inactive during the last FIFA women’s international break, which affected their ranking points.
South Africa, Ghana, Zambia and Morocco complete the top five teams on the continent.
On the global stage, world champions Spain remain the number one team. The United States, Germany, England and Sweden make up the rest of the top five.
