Former Super Eagles striker Daniel Amokachi has encouraged Victor Osimhen to move to the English Premier League, saying the Nigerian forward has what it takes to succeed in the world’s most competitive league.
Amokachi, who previously played for Everton in England and Besiktas in Turkey, praised Osimhen’s fighting spirit and talent, calling him a "warrior" who can shine anywhere.
Osimhen, 26, is currently on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray and has been in top form. So far this season, he has scored 33 goals and made 8 assists in 38 games across all competitions. His impressive performances have caught the attention of top English clubs like Manchester United and Chelsea, who are said to be monitoring him ahead of the summer transfer window.
Speaking about Osimhen’s future, Amokachi said, “It would be great to see him in the Premier League. He will succeed in any league because of the quality and strength he brings. He’s the kind of player every club would want.”
Osimhen’s current form has sparked discussions about his next move. A switch to the Premier League could be the next big step in his career, giving him a larger platform and helping him grow his reputation in global football.
