The panic surrounding the actor’s health intensified across various digital platforms following the circulation of a video clip depicting the beloved movie star in an uncharacteristically frail and weakened state, triggering a wave of deep concern from his entertainment colleagues and loyal fanbase.
Reacting to the escalating rumors, Duru released a direct video statement on his Instagram account to set the record straight. The veteran actor explicitly stated that he has never suffered from an illness of that severity, fiercely condemning the individuals behind the viral footage as malicious opportunists who manufacture tragedy solely to generate digital engagement.
“I’m making this video in regards to a very wicked video circulating around about me being sick to that very level you can see in the video. I have never been that sick and would never be that sick… That video is the handwork of the merchant of darkness, wickedness… all in the course of driving traffic.” Francis Duru said.
