Arsenal strengthened their grip on the Premier League title after defeating Sunderland 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, recording their fourth consecutive win in all competitions.

Martin Zubimendi opened the scoring in the 41st minute, firing a low shot off the post after a precise pass from Leandro Trossard. The breakthrough came after an evenly contested first half in which Sunderland remained compact defensively and created a few scoring opportunities.

Substitute Viktor Gyokeres then struck twice in the second half to secure the win for Mikel Arteta’s side. He doubled Arsenal’s lead midway through the second period after a well-worked move finished by Kai Havertz, before completing his brace deep into stoppage time from a fast counter-attack.

The victory consolidates Arsenal’s position at the top of the table, increasing their lead over closest rivals and keeping them firmly on course for the Premier League title.
