Nigerian celebrity chef Hilda Baci has officially added another major win to her name, becoming a three-time Guinness World Records holder.

The latest recognition comes after Guinness World Records confirmed that her massive jollof rice achievement didn’t just break one record  it actually broke two records at once:

  • Largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice
  • Largest serving of rice overall

Hilda shared the update online, revealing that she received an email confirming the new milestone, and she was shocked to discover that Guinness had proactively awarded her the extra record after reviewing the guidelines and evidence from her original attempt.

The record-breaking rice reportedly weighed 8,780 kilograms, an amount said to be enough to serve over 16,600 people, and the event was verified by Guinness World Records after the attempt took place in Victoria Island, Lagos, in September 2025.

This new achievement adds to her earlier Guinness record for the longest cooking marathon, which she set in 2023 after cooking continuously for 93 hours and 11 minutes cementing her status as one of Nigeria’s biggest global culinary stars.
