Jimmy Kimmel’s show, Jimmy Kimmel Live has been suspended indefinitely by ABC after he made comments about the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

The suspension has sparked a huge backlash from A-list celebrities like Ben Stiller, John Legend, Henry Winkler, Jamie Lee Curtis, and Alison Brie, who believe ABC caved to political pressure.

Jimmy Kimmel commented on Charlie Kirk’s death, suggesting the suspect was part of the “MAGA gang,” which turned out to be incorrect.

Sinclair, a major ABC affiliate group, demanded Kimmel apologize to Kirk’s family and make a donation to Turning Point USA for the show to return to air.

Celebrities like Ben Stiller, John Legend, and Wanda Sykes have spoken out against the suspension, calling it censorship and an attack on free speech.

“Boycott ABC” and “Boycott Disney” trended on social media after the suspension was announced.

California Governor Gavin Newsom blasted the move as censorship

The suspension has raised questions about the role of late-night television in addressing sensitive political topics.

ABC has not set a timeline for the show’s return, leaving fans uncertain about the program’s future.
