Veteran Nollywood actress Eucharia Anunobi has gone viral after sharply correcting a podcast host who introduced her without mentioning her titles during an interview.
The incident occurred on The Honest Bunch podcast, where the host mistakenly referred to the actress as “Ukeriya Anunobi Eku” while introducing her on the show.
Anunobi quickly interrupted to correct the pronunciation of her name and insisted that her official titles should not be omitted.
According to her, the proper way to introduce her is “Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi.”
“If you want to introduce me, you introduce me properly. I remain Apostle Dr. Eucharia Anunobi,” she said during the interview.
The actress stressed that her doctorate degree is not honorary but an academic achievement she worked hard to obtain.
“My doctorate degree is not honorarium. It is academic. I had worked. I had laboured. I am schooled. And when I mean schooled, I mean schooled,” she said.
During the conversation, Anunobi also described herself as a passionate professional who remains committed to acting.
“I’m a moving acting machine,” she added.
