Nigerian singer Aituaje Vivian Ebele Iruobe, popularly known as Waje, has shared a candid account of her struggle with body insecurity, revealing that she once wore multiple bras to conceal her busty figure.
Speaking on the Her Next Chapter podcast with Tope Olowoniyan, Waje said that even before motherhood, she felt self-conscious about her physique.
“Even before I had my child, I have always been heavy at the top. I used to hide it. In my 20s, I used to wear like three bras. I used to be very uncomfortable about how heavy I was at the top,” she confessed.
The singer added that over time, she learned to embrace her body and gain confidence in her natural features. Waje’s revelation offers insight into the pressures of body image, even for public figures in the entertainment industry.
