Nollywood veteran Funke Akindele has candidly shared her thoughts on the Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) cosmetic procedure, admitting that she likes the idea of it but may never go through with it.
In a recent appearance on The Morayo Show, the award‑winning actress said she admires the aesthetic results of BBLs and other body‑enhancing surgeries but cited her low tolerance for pain as a major deterrent.
Akindele described her preference for a balanced look, saying she appreciates women who are well‑shaped without going to extremes.
“I love to see beautiful women with beautiful bodies. I actually like BBL — the skinny ones, not the big ones. I love a flat tummy and liposuction. I want to do it, but I don’t have the mind for it,” she disclosed.
While affirming that there is nothing wrong with enhancing one’s appearance, she urged women to exercise caution and avoid excessive alterations.
“I am not against BBL. If you want to enhance your beauty, go ahead, but don’t overdo things. Be careful,” the actress said.
Akindele also touched on the challenges of maintaining success in the entertainment industry, noting that discipline has shaped her personal life and relationships.
“It is actually lonely at the top because if you want to remain at the top, you have to be guarded and disciplined. It is going to be very boring because you won’t have friends,” she added.
