I Want to Act as a Taxi Driver in a Movie — Davido

Nigerian superstar Davido has revealed his desire to explore the world of acting specifically, to take on the role of a taxi driver in a film.  

Speaking at the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in Lagos, he expressed his excitement about blending his music career with storytelling and film production.   He said:

“My brother was saying that he was going to give me a role. I told him I wanted to do a role that would be shot by a taxi driver or something out of the blue.”  

Davido shared that this move is part of his broader plan to dive into authentic African narratives and collaborate with filmmakers on the continent
