Nigerian singer Spyro has left fans stunned after publicly appreciating the men who dated his fiancée before him and his reason is melting hearts online.
In a deeply emotional Instagram post, the “Who’s Your Guy” crooner revealed that he is actually grateful to every man who came before him, saying their decisions ultimately led her straight into his life.
“I thank God for every single guy that walked away or let her slip,” he shared, adding that those past relationships played a major role in bringing him his “perfect match.”
But that wasn’t even the most shocking part.
Spyro went on to recount the exact moment he knew she was “the one” and it happened almost instantly. According to him, the very first time they truly connected, he boldly told her: “I will marry you.”
At the time, she thought he was joking.
He wasn’t.
The singer revealed that he wasted no time backing up his words, immediately asking for her family’s contact details because, in his words, he “felt it in his spirit and bones” that she was his future wife.
Spyro also shared how protective and intentional he was from the beginning even stepping in whenever other men got too close to her at events, making it clear he wasn’t there to play games.
Now fully in love, he didn’t hold back on the sweet words, describing his fiancée as “heaven on earth” and promising to spend his life making her happy.
