Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has issued a strong warning to an unknown person allegedly impersonating her on TikTok and collecting money in her name.

The actress, in a message shared online, accused the individual of using her identity to defraud unsuspecting members of the public and made it clear she would not tolerate the act.

“To the girl impersonating me on TikTok, collecting money and claiming to be me, if we catch you, nobody will save you. I don’t back down when people plead on social media. You will definitely go to jail,” Dikeh said.

She warned that law enforcement agencies have been alerted and that anyone found behind the fake account would face the full weight of the law.

Tonto also advised her fans and followers to be cautious, stressing that she does not solicit money from people online and urging the public to report any suspicious accounts using her name or image.

The actress has, in recent years, been vocal about online scams and identity theft involving public figures, repeatedly cautioning fans against falling victim to fraudsters operating on social media platforms.
