Inter Milan have made a fresh move to sign Super Eagles forward, Ademola Lookman, from Atalanta.
The Italian giants submitted a new bid reportedly worth €40 million, with an extra €5 million in performance-based add-ons. This is an improvement on the first offer made a few weeks ago, which Atalanta rejected.
Despite the higher bid, Atalanta are still asking for more money, and both clubs have not reached an agreement yet.
Lookman, 27, had an impressive season in Serie A and grabbed headlines in May after scoring a hat-trick in the UEFA Europa League final to help Atalanta win the title.
With top clubs in Europe showing interest, Inter are keen to land the Nigerian star before the new season begins. But Atalanta are not ready to let him go without a fight.
Talks between both clubs are still ongoing.
