Nigerian rapper Jesse Jagz caused a stir on social media after joining media personality Daddy Freeze’s Instagram live session to express his displeasure over discussions about singer 2Face Idibia’s marriage.
The incident follows an interview on December 1, when 2Baba’s former manager, Kaka Igbokwe, appeared on Daddy Freeze’s IG live to make allegations about the singer’s marriage to Natasha Idibia. Kaka claimed that Natasha allegedly subjected 2Face to abuse and had control over his finances, adding that the couple struggled with substance abuse and could benefit from therapy.
The revelations sparked public concern, with many calling for intervention on behalf of the singer. 2Face subsequently addressed the allegations on December 3, urging Nigerians to “cease fire” and stop spreading hate towards his wife, noting that such attacks could put her in danger.
During his live session with Daddy Freeze, Jesse Jagz defended 2Face, describing him as a “legend” who should not be harassed. The rapper further stated that he intended to travel from Jos, where he is based, to Abuja to support 2Face.
Some viewers expressed concern over Jesse Jagz’s conduct during the session, noting that he appeared to be smoking while speaking.
“I am physically heading from Jos to Abuja tomorrow morning. I am going to take 2Baba out, have a drink with him, and help him relax,” Jesse Jagz said during the live session.
