Actress Jodie Turner-Smith and actor Joshua Jackson have officially ended their marriage, but are still locked in a disagreement over where their daughter, Juno, will attend school.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, the couple reached a divorce settlement that includes shared 50/50 custody of their 4-year-old daughter. Jackson, 46, will pay $2,787 monthly in child support, and neither party will receive spousal support.
Despite this agreement, Turner-Smith, 38, says there’s still tension over who decides their daughter's education. She claims Jackson is going against a court order that gave her the authority to choose Juno’s school.
Turner-Smith explained that both she and Jackson attended a full-day mediation in May 2024 to settle temporary custody matters for the 2024–2025 school year. Afterward, the court gave her the final say in selecting the school.
In new court filings, Turner-Smith accused Jackson of not respecting that decision. She said she chose a school she believes offers a stable, diverse environment and informed Jackson in April, before the school confirmed admission. However, she claims Jackson later objected to the school, citing concerns like drive time and challenged her decision-making rights through his lawyers.
Turner-Smith is now asking the court to award her $75,000 in legal fees related to the school dispute.
The couple, who married in 2019, split in 2023 when Turner-Smith filed for divorce in Los Angeles after more than three years together.
