Nollywood actress, Judy Austin, has cautioned women against getting married simply because they are pregnant.
Speaking during a live video session, Judy said rushing into marriage for the sake of an unborn child could lead to lifelong regret.
She explained that marriage requires emotional and mental readiness, not pressure or circumstance.
“Don’t marry a man because you’re pregnant for him, you will regret it,” she said. “The first question you should ask yourself is, can I spend the rest of my life with this guy?”
Judy advised women to take time to know their partners before making such a commitment, adding that trust should be placed only in oneself and in God.
“Date people, learn people, and understand that you can’t trust anyone except yourself and God,” she added.
The actress emphasised that marriage should be built on understanding and readiness, not obligation.
