Kylie Jenner is celebrating a decade of her beauty empire. The 28-year-old mogul recently opened up about the emotional journey behind Kylie Cosmetics, which kicked off with the debut of the Kylie Lip Kits on November 30, 2015.
In a special edition cover for WWD Beauty Inc., Kylie posed in a bold double-breasted power suit, crisp white shirt, striped tie, and patentk leather heels. Her raven hair cascaded down, highlighted by pink-and-blue makeup tones and a glossy lip look.
Reflecting on her beginnings, she said she found old photos from when she was 17-18, working on eyeshadow palettes in a factory. At that time, a decade of success seemed far off. Now, she says she feels “surreal” to be here.
Looking forward, Kylie says she hopes the brand becomes a legacy perhaps something her daughter will want to take over. She shares son Aire, now three, with ex Travis Scott, and is currently dating actor Timothée Chalamet.
