In a candid revelation, Nigerian rapper Lil Kesh has shared his ongoing battle with mental health challenges, including anxiety and what he believes to be undiagnosed Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). Speaking in a recent interview, the “Shoki” crooner disclosed that, despite lacking a formal medical diagnosis, he is convinced of his condition based on lifelong symptoms.

“I don’t like to identify as ADHD, but I have ADHD. Everybody has a particular level of ADHD to them. But it’s bad when it is a disorder. I’ve had my fair share of that disorder right from when I was a kid,” Lil Kesh stated. He emphasized that his self-awareness stems from years of personal experience, noting, “I diagnosed myself, but trust me, I know.”

Addressing his struggles with anxiety, the rapper highlighted that uncertainty and lack of clarity are significant triggers for him. “I feel like not knowing, lack of clarity… that’s one thing that can give me anxiety. Once I know what it is that I’m dealing with or what type of emotion I’m actually feeling or what my problem really is, that is half solved,” he explained.

Lil Kesh’s openness sheds light on the often-overlooked mental health issues faced by artists in the entertainment industry. His candidness aims to foster greater understanding and support for those grappling with similar challenges
