Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has voiced his firm support for manager Ruben Amorim, insisting that the players are “100% behind” the Portuguese coach following their latest win against Sunderland.

United secured an important victory to continue their positive run under Amorim, who took charge earlier this season amid mixed reactions from fans and pundits. Speaking after the match, Mount praised the manager’s influence both on and off the pitch.

“We’re 100% behind the gaffer,” Mount said. “He’s brought a clear vision, great energy, and everyone in the dressing room is buying into it. You can see that in the way we’re playing and fighting for each other.”

The win provided a much-needed boost as United look to build momentum in their campaign after a challenging start. Amorim’s tactical approach and focus on possession-based football appear to be earning the trust of the squad.

Mount, who returned to the starting lineup after a spell out with injury, also highlighted the growing unity within the team:

“There’s a real togetherness now. We’re improving every week, and the confidence is coming back. The manager’s message is clear, and we’re responding.”

With crucial fixtures ahead, including a Premier League clash against a top-four rival, United fans will be encouraged by Mount’s words and the team’s recent performances under Amorim’s guidance.
