Nigerian music icon Peter Okoye, widely known as Mr P, has issued a stern warning to fans to permanently stop comparing him to his twin brother and former P-Square bandmate, Paul Okoye (Rudeboy). In a recent video broadcast, the artist expressed deep frustration with the ongoing social media rivalries, stating that he wants to focus entirely on his solo career without the toxic distractions of a divided fan base.
Mr P emphasized his individuality, declaring that he has nothing left to prove after decades at the top of the African entertainment space.
“Stop comparing me with my brother or anyone else. Enough of the comparisons. I want to do me. There is no one like me. I want to do my thing and chop my money.”

The singer’s call for independence follows a series of candid revelations about the financial and professional impact of P-Square’s short-lived reunion. Speaking in an interview with Cool FM Lagos, Mr P claimed that reconciling with his brother actually derailed the massive digital momentum he had built as a solo entity.
