Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta is in mourning again after losing another child.
The 54-year-old announced the death of his son on Instagram on Saturday, though he did not disclose the cause.
Sharing a photo of the boy, Chatta wrote: “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, Dear son, champ.”
Colleagues and fans flooded his page with condolence messages following the heartbreaking news.
The tragedy comes days after veteran actress Peju Ogunmola also lost her only son, Ayomikun, in Ibadan.
The Nollywood community has been thrown into mourning over the double tragedies.
Ibrahim Chatta had earlier revealed that he lost his first child, a daughter, years ago due to financial hardship and lack of medical care. He recalled burying her in a wooden Coca-Cola crate because he could not afford a coffin.
