There was panic on Sunday after gunfire erupted outside the Los Angeles home of pop superstar Rihanna.
According to U.S. media reports, the incident occurred shortly after 1 p.m. in the upscale Beverly Hills area when a woman allegedly fired several shots from a vehicle parked across the street from the singer’s mansion.
Police said about 10 rounds were discharged during the shooting, with at least one bullet piercing a wall of the luxury residence.
Rihanna, who reportedly lives in the property with her partner A$AP Rocky and their children, was said to be inside the house when the incident happened.
Authorities later arrested a woman believed to be in her 30s a short distance from the scene. Officers also recovered a firearm during the arrest.
Investigators are still working to determine the motive behind the shooting.
The singer has yet to publicly comment on the incident.
