Passenger drgged Off Ibom Air Flight after assaulting flight attendant

A violent altercation turned chaotic aboard an Ibom Air flight en route from Lagos to Uyo. The drama unfolded when a female passenger adamantly refused to turn off her phone as directed by cabin crew. Insisting on using flight mode instead, she became agitated, resulting in a confrontation that forced the pilot to return the plane to the terminal  .

The situation escalated rapidly when the passenger struck a flight attendant at the doorway. In response, airport security intervened, restraining her and escorting her off the aircraft. The removal was intense the passenger continued to resist, wielding her bag and screaming as officials placed her on an airport bus amidst a flurry of chaos  .

Following the incident, Ibom Air announced a lifetime ban for the unruly passenger, reaffirming its zero-tolerance policy against violent conduct on flights. The airline praised the composure and professionalism displayed by its crew and enforcement staff  . The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority also weighed in, reminding travelers of their responsibilities and urging compliance with cabin crew instructions
