FIFA has revealed Trionda, the official match ball for the 2026 World Cup, at an event in New York.
The ball was designed by Adidas, FIFA’s long-time partner, and celebrates the three host countries — the United States, Mexico, and Canada. It features red, blue, and green colours, with designs showing Canada’s maple leaf, Mexico’s eagle, and the U.S. stars, all linked by a triangle pattern to represent unity.
The ball also includes new technology, with deep seams for better flight, embossed icons for grip, and a motion sensor chip that will send data to the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system.
FIFA president Gianni Infantino said he was “delighted and proud” to present the ball for the first World Cup hosted by three countries. The tournament will run from June 11 to July 19, 2026, with 48 teams competing.
Over 4.5 million fans from 216 countries have already applied for tickets in the presale. The official tournament draw will take place in Washington on December 5, 2025.
