Renowned American gospel singer and worship leader Ron Kenoly has died at the age of 81, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) confirmed on Tuesday. His passing has sparked widespread tributes from gospel musicians, church leaders, and Christian communities worldwide, recognizing his significant influence on contemporary worship music.

PFN President Bishop Francis Wale-Oke paid tribute to Kenoly in a Facebook post on Wednesday, describing him as “a true worshipper who gave his life to the glory of God.” He highlighted Kenoly’s deep spiritual connection, saying he “walked in profound spiritual depth, filled with the Holy Spirit, sound in the Scriptures, and deeply moving in both word and song.”

Bishop Wale-Oke also praised Kenoly’s ministry, noting that he “carried the presence of God wherever he ministered,” inspiring hearts and nations through worship and reverence. Kenoly’s legacy as a worship leader and his contributions to gospel music have left a lasting impact on the global Christian community.
