Reality TV star Porsha Williams has opened up about her love life, revealing that she’s currently dating two people — a man and a woman — following her divorce from Nigerian businessman Simon Guobadia.
Speaking at CultureCon in New York City over the weekend, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star surprised the crowd when she said, “Of the people I am talking to now… he is nice and she’s nice.” The audience gasped in shock, with one person shouting, “You’re bold!”
Williams, 44, didn’t disclose the identities of her new partners but explained that she intentionally chose people who are “normal,” unlike her past relationships.
“I really wanted to make sure these were normal people,” she said. “I talked to my therapist about how it’s been hard to open up because they’re not narcissists. And guess what narcissists do? They love bomb you. They do everything to look perfect. They mirror you.”
She added that both her current partners “challenge” her and “call her out” when needed — something she’s learning to appreciate.
“I have to soften up a bit,” she admitted. “I have to not expect a whole lot of elaborate things. I have to expect someone to call me out from time to time.”
In June, Williams told People magazine that she had gone through a “bad breakup” that left her questioning what she wanted in a partner.
Porsha married Simon Guobadia, 61, in 2022 but filed for divorce in February 2024, just 14 months later. The pair finalized their divorce earlier this year.
