Nigerian music star Asake has finally addressed the long-standing rumours about his relationship with YBNL boss Olamide and his response is shutting down the drama in a big way.

Speaking in a recent interview, the singer made it clear that there is no bad blood between him and his former label boss, despite speculation that surfaced after he left YBNL and moved abroad.

In his words, Asake didn’t hold back on showing respect, stating that Olamide will always remain his boss “till the end of time.”

He also emphasized that no level of success even becoming something as big as the President of America would change the deep respect he has for the rapper.

This revelation comes amid ongoing comparisons with controversial singer Portable, who has repeatedly dragged Olamide despite the role he played in his early career.

Fans quickly jumped on the moment, praising Asake for his loyalty and maturity, while calling out Portable for what they described as “ingratitude.”

Many noted that while both artists benefited from Olamide’s influence, their attitudes have been completely different.

The debate has once again sparked conversations online about respect, mentorship, and how artists handle relationships after leaving record labels.

As the reactions continue to pour in, one thing is clear Asake’s calm but powerful statement has not only cleared the air but also set a standard many believe others in the industry should follow.
