American rapper and reality TV star, Cardi B, celebrated her 33rd birthday over the weekend with glamour and gratitude, marking what she described as her “Jesus year.”
The Grammy-winning artiste, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, shared stunning photos on Instagram showing her in a sheer maroon dress with cutout details that highlighted her baby bump.
Cardi B, who is expecting her fourth child — and first with NFL player Stefon Diggs — completed her look with crimson jewellery and a flawless makeup finish. She posed beside a massive display of balloons, flowers, and a glowing “Happy Birthday” sign inside her mansion.
“Thank you to everyone for all the birthday wishes,” she wrote. “Everyone usually makes their new year resolutions on January 1st, but I made mine last night. I’m feeling lucky but most of all blessed!”
Reflecting on the past year, the “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker said turning 33 felt special. “Year 32 was one I’ll never forget, but 33 is the Jesus year, and I must say I’ve never felt so covered and protected by the man above,” she said. “He never fails to remind me that I’m chosen and anointed — and that’s the best gift I could ever ask for.”
Cardi B also posted a short clip singing along to her single Check Please as part of her celebration.
The rapper shares three children Kulture, seven; Wave, four; and Blossom, one with her ex-husband, Offset. She announced in September that she and Diggs are expecting a baby together, telling CBS Mornings host Gayle King that she felt “happy and in a good space” ahead of her February due date.
“Me and my man are very supportive of each other. We’re both at the top of our game,” she said.
Diggs, who currently plays as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, has been in the NFL for ten seasons.
Cardi B filed for divorce from Offset in July 2024 after seven years of marriage, requesting full custody of their children.
Despite the ups and downs, Cardi’s birthday message showed gratitude and renewed faith: “Thank you all for supporting me and loving me. I love y’all back.”
