Aderombi Adedayo, also known as DeeOne, a popular Nigerian reality TV star and comedian, has disclosed that he once had a romantic relationship with celebrity fashion designer Veekee James. This revelation comes in response to James’s recent comments about him.
During an interview on the “Unfiltered and Extra Spicy with Ify’s Kitchen” podcast, Veekee James described DeeOne as “unserious.” She stated, “If you are a smart person, you will know that you cannot take him seriously.”
DeeOne, reacting to James’s remarks, shared that they were once romantically involved. In a video posted on his Instagram, captioned “Ruth, you never still move on from this our matter,” the comedian stated, “I had moved on.” He also cautioned people not to take celebrity issues too personally. DeeOne mentioned that their relationship occurred after he left Big Brother Naija in 2018. He added, “For me there’s no bad blood and it’s not that I didn’t treat her well.” He also said that he wishes them the best.
