Sean Kingston’s mother has been sentenced to five years in prison after being exposed as the “mastermind” behind a $1 million luxury fraud scheme — and the singer himself could soon follow her to jail.

Janice Turner, 63, was convicted alongside her famous son in March after a jury found them guilty of five counts of wire fraud. The sentencing comes a year after federal agents stormed Kingston’s sprawling seven-bedroom Florida mansion during an explosive raid that stunned fans.

Lavish lifestyle funded by lies

Prosecutors revealed the mother-son duo splashed out on high-end goods, including luxury watches and cars, using bogus bank transfers between April 2023 and March 2024.

  • Two luxury watches worth $480,000

  • Another watch priced at $285,000

  • A car costing $159,702.78

But the sellers never saw a dime.

Turner, described in court as the “nerve center” of the scam, faced up to 20 years behind bars. Her lawyers begged for leniency, citing charity work and health issues — but the judge wasn’t swayed.

To make matters worse, Turner is set to be deported to Jamaica once she completes her sentence.

The “Beautiful Girls” hitmaker, real name Kisean Anderson, will learn his fate on August 28. He could face a lengthy prison term, capping a stunning fall from grace for the chart-topping star who once ruled the Billboard charts with Justin Bieber collaborations.

This is not Turner’s first brush with the law: in 2006, she served over a year in federal prison for bank fraud.
