A woman identifying herself as the sister of Ebelechukwu Egeonu Enedah, the lawyer representing Sophia Momodu in her custody battle with singer Davido over their daughter Imade, has accused the singer of inciting harassment against her sibling.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the woman alleged that Davido had orchestrated a campaign of online abuse, exposing her sister’s personal information to his millions of followers and prompting threats, relentless calls, and harassment.
The controversy followed a heated court hearing last week, after which Davido announced he was withdrawing his bid for custody. During the proceedings, he claimed that Enedah had invoked the memory of his late son, Ifeanyi, who died in October 2022, describing it as a “low blow.”
The singer later shared the lawyer’s name and social media handle publicly. However, he mistakenly tagged gospel artiste Tosin Bee, who later clarified he had no connection to Enedah. The exposure reportedly led to widespread online attention and harassment directed at the lawyer, prompting her legal firm, Punuka Attorneys & Solicitors, to condemn the attacks.
In the video, the woman called on Davido to stop the harassment, remove her sister’s personal information from social media, and instruct his fans to desist. She warned of serious consequences, citing both the online threats and their shared citizenship in the United States.
“Davido, you have millions of followers, and you think you can use them, your power, your money to tarnish my sister’s image, to stalk her, to bully her online and offline. Sharing her phone number has led to death threats and relentless calls. You need to remove her information and stop this harassment immediately,” she said.
The woman added that while Davido can face her sister in Nigeria, he should be prepared to face her in America if the harassment continues.
