Damilola Adeniyi, daughter of Juju music legend King Sunny Ade, has raised alarm about her father’s safety and whereabouts, sparking fears of a possible kidnapping.
In emotional posts shared on Instagram over the past two days, Damilola said she fears her father is being controlled by others and may no longer have full access to his own finances.
Although she didn’t provide hard proof, Damilola pointed fingers at some people close to the musician, including his manager, suggesting they might be involved. She called on authorities to urgently step in and investigate what is happening.
She also claimed that King Sunny Ade was being moved around without proper care, and raised concerns about unpaid hotel bills and other financial issues under his name.
“I want the authorities to step in. I believe there is financial mismanagement happening, and my father’s welfare is at stake,” she wrote on Instagram.
As at the time of filing this report, King Sunny Ade and his team had not yet responded to the allegations.
Efforts to reach the music icon’s representatives are ongoing.
