Popular TikTok creator Mainly Mannie has revealed that he is living with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus).
The influencer, who has over 1.4 million followers on TikTok, made the announcement in a heartfelt video shared on his page.
Mannie said he found out about his status during the summer and described it as one of the most challenging moments of his life. He revealed that he contracted the virus from his ex-partner, whose identity he chose not to disclose.
“Life has been trying to take me out lately — from the accidents, the sicknesses, and then me finding out I had HIV in the summer,” he said. “I’m not the victim. My ex gave me this, and I didn’t know. I had signs, but I was so deep in love.”
Despite his health struggles, Mannie said he recently celebrated his birthday in the hospital, describing it as a “sweet moment” and expressing gratitude for life.
He also shared that he is currently on treatment costing about $4,000 monthly, and his health is improving.
“So, I’m gonna be working a lot. I think I’m gonna register for foundations and stuff — not I think, I am,” he added. “I’m feeling way better. I feel like me. I feel like the Boss and CEO.”
Mannie’s openness about his diagnosis has drawn support and encouragement from fans across social media.
