Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that she received a divine calling at the age of 19, sharing details of her spiritual journey during a recent livestream.
Speaking candidly, the actress said she felt a strong urge to serve God from a young age but initially ran away from the calling. She disclosed that her involvement with the church began in secondary school and has continued ever since.
“I’ve always had this calling right from when I was a child. At 19 I was going to be a pastor, until I ran away. I’ve been in church since I left secondary school. So I had always known God intimately and intensely. And I’ve always known I had this calling,” she said.
Tonto also described her life as extraordinary, saying that God orchestrated the events she has experienced to shape her into the person she is today.
“If you watch what has happened in my life, it is not ordinary. God called me and needed me to go through all I had to become the firebrand that I am today,” she added.
Her revelations come amid ongoing public interest in her personal and spiritual life, following her reconciliation with her ex-husband and her recent social media activity.
