Nollywood actress and box office queen, Toyin Abraham, is finally opening up about her short-lived marriage to fellow actor Adeniyi Johnson, and let’s just say the tea is piping hot!
In a no-holds-barred chat, Toyin revealed that their union wasn’t built on the solid foundation everyone assumed. She admitted they were both “two wounded people” trying to heal each other, which only led to more pain. According to her, “we were both broken, and you can’t build something strong from a place of brokenness.”
Although the actress didn’t spill all the dirty details, she made it clear that the marriage wasn’t right from the start. The two tied the knot in 2013 and went their separate ways barely two years later in 2015 and it’s been drama ever since.
Toyin’s been through a lot, but she’s also grown, evolved, and is now happily married to Kolawole Ajeyemi, with whom she shares a beautiful son.
