Tyrese Haliburton, the Indiana Pacers’ star guard, has officially jumped into the NBA’s most romantic storyline yet: he proposed to longtime love Jade Jones during a sentimental moment at Hilton Coliseum, Iowa State University the place where they first met. Haliburton, recovering from a torn Achilles and sporting a boot, still managed to kneel before his college sweetheart, holding an engagement ring beneath a “Will You Marry Me?” sign decked with red roses.

The couple, together since 2019, shared the reveal on Instagram. Tyrese captioned the post, “The place where our story started, and where our next chapter begins,” while Jade replied, “Future Mrs. What the Hali”  a playful nod to social media’s favorite anthem.

Fellow athletes showered love too: WNBA star Caitlin Clark was quick to comment, “WEDDING TIMEEEEE. LOVE YALL.” Former Pacers teammate Myles Turner and others also chimed in.

Beyond the romance, the gesture held deeper meaning: Jade has been his unwavering support since their college days  cheering courtside throughout his NBA journey and during his injury downtime.
